and full sized hood keep extremities warm while waiting at the

on those really cold days and strategically placed stretch cordura
protects the race suit from excessive wear. Flat stitching eliminates
chafing and the elastic boot covers permit access to race boot
lock down mechanisms while keeping snow out of the boot. Both

External mesh pockets hold skins (allowing them to dry when not
in use) and a special crampon pouch in the bottom can double as
a spare skin holder on race days. The race ski-loop attachments
facilitate mounting skis without having to remove the pack, making
for extremely fast transitions. The elastic sternum strap keeps
everything positioned well while allowing the chest to freely expand.
